Barry Jenkins

Barry Jenkins holds a medical doctorate from Harvard University, where he developed parallel interests in computational vision models and computer graphics. He created 3D geometry software licensed to major firms including Lucas Arts and Blur Studios.

Jenkins developed the conceptual framework for the GPEG visibility event protocol and implemented its core encoder in C/C++.

He is the named inventor on 13 issued US and international GPEG patents. He co-founded Concurrents, where he is CTO.
